New Intensity control cable

New Intensity control cable

A new control cable is coming soon for the Phos-4. . .

Its a BNC to P4 Connect cable that allows the intensity of the LEDs to be modulated using an a voltage source.

For example, an analogue sinusoidal voltage of ±0.5V will modulate the intensity of the from 10% to 90% of the LED drive current, with a the 3 dB frequency is at 150 kHz.

So its really useful for testing the bandwidth of a photo-detector and its amplifier.
